ABOUT

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's in Social Work from Loyola University and a Master's in Child Development from the Erikson Institute. I also completed a post-graduate fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine's Child Development Center in New Haven, where I helped to prevent psychiatric hospitalizations in children and young adults.

My expertise in early child development shapes the way I work with children, teens and adults: I help clients deepen their understanding of themselves and their families, empowering them to foster healthy environments at home. Guided by a trauma-informed approach, my practice is creative and collaborative and the focus is on sharing reflections and observations openly.

Rooted in deep admiration and respect for children, I look for ways to use the transformative power of play and playfulness to navigate even the most challenging life circumstances. I often find that the best way to help young people is to help grownups, and I value my work with couples and parents tremendously. Mostly, I hope to connect with you and to help you strengthen connections in your own life.

MORE ABOUT MARGOT

I’m also a mother of two young kids. When it's cold, I love to hibernate indoors with my family and play. In the summer, you'll find me walking around the neighborhood looking for a good treat. My true favorite way to enjoy life is to talk, and listen, for hours over coffee (one of the reasons I’m in this field).
